Chain mulchers

The working surfaces of the mulcher head and the cutting head are made of wear-resistant HARDOX steel.

The support skis are made from Hardox steel and are easily replaceable.

The durable triple-reinforced rubber in front of and behind the mulcher head efficiently prevents ejection of cut branches and stones.

The chain mulcher has a robust tube frame (Cat. 2) for attaching to the three-point linkage of the tractor.

The robust spring damper protects the mulcher and the tractor when encountering obstacles during work.

The CM-1700 model is designed with a hydraulic side shift, allowing cutting farther from the road verge and also on the opposite side of the ditch.

Cutting on the opposite side of the ditch is easy due to the option of quick hydraulic angle adjustment of the mulcher head.

In order to protect the transmission, the chain mulcher is equipped with a valve which prevents the cutting head from moving to a wrong position.

The mulcher head is equipped with an openable cover for easier cutting of taller vegetation. The hydraulically controlled cover can be controlled from the inside of the tractor. Without the hydraulics, the cover can be moved by hand and fixed by moving the pin.

Gearboxes and PTO shafts by Bondioli & Pavesi are specially designed for this machine.

The first PTO shaft has an overload clutch and a freewheel in order to protect both the tractor and the chain mulcher. A wide-angle PTO shaft ensures a long reach.

The chain of the cutting head is made from durable special-purpose steel.

The SAMI chain mulcher is relatively lightweight for its cutting reach and power.
